Terms and Conditions of Source Education

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the dental education services provided by Source Education Pty Ltd (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must not register for or participate in our courses.

1. Registration

1.1. Eligibility: To register for our dental education courses, you must meet any prerequisites specified in the course description, such as educational qualifications or professional experience.

1.2. Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the registration process. Any misrepresentation of information may result in the cancellation of your registration.

1.3. Course Availability: Course availability is subject to enrolment capacity and other factors. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrolment, instructor unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative course date.

1. Fees and Payments

2.1. Course Fees: The fees for our courses are clearly stated on our website or communicated to you during the registration process. All fees are payable in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified.

2.2. Bank Transfer Payments: If you choose to make payment via bank transfer, you are responsible for any associated bank charges. Payment must be received in full by two working days of invoice date to secure your registration. Registration can be removed if payments are not received within this timeframe.

1. Privacy

3.1. Personal Information: We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering for our courses, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal information as outlined in the Privacy Policy. Names and practice details may be included on a delegate list for distribution, to speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. During your likeness may be captured through photography or recording. By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree that we may publish, use, or reproduce these images or recordings of you in various communication channels, including but not limited to the internet, print materials, video, DVD, television, radio, cable, or other electronic applications. The purpose of collecting this personal information is to promote our services and report on our events.

1. Photography/Videography

4.1. Consent: During our courses, we may capture photographs or videos of participants for promotional or educational purposes. By registering for our courses, you consent to the use of your likeness in such materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in writing before the course commences.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1. Cancellation by Participant: If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us in writing. The following cancellation and refund policy applies:

a. More than 60 days before the course start date: Full refund minus $50 administrative fee and any associated merchant fees or surcharges. Option to also receive credit towards another course within 1 year.

b. Between 60 days and 30 days: 50% refund minus $50 administrative fee and any associated merchant fees or surcharges.

c. 30 days or less before the course start date: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another individual with written consent.

5.2. Cancellation by Source Education: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum enrolment requirements are not met. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative course date. This is usually completed within 30 days of the cancellation. However, Source Education is not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants, or changes to work commitments or personal circumstances. Participants may elect to transfer the fee from a cancelled event to a future event of equal value.

1. Failure to Attend

6.1. If you fail to attend a course without prior notice or written cancellation, no refund or credit will be provided.

1. Sickness or Emergencies

7.1. If you are unable to attend a course due to sickness or emergency circumstances, you must notify us as soon as possible. A doctor’s certificate must be provided. Depending on the circumstances and at our discretion, we may offer a refund, credit, or transfer your registration to a future course.

1. Intellectual Property

8.1. All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and online resources, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or modify any course materials without our prior written consent.

1. Disclaimer of Liability

9.1. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information in our courses, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of the content. The presentations delivered at a Source Education event, which may cover clinical methods, materials, techniques, or approaches to business issues in a dental practice, are not to be considered as an endorsement by Source Education Pty Ltd. By registering for a Source Education event, the delegate assumes full responsibility for the utilization of any information provided. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in our courses.

1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Country/State]. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Country/State].

1. Severability

11.1. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

1. Entire Agreement

12.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Source Education regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, and representations.

By registering for our courses and participating in our dental education services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
